Every African child deserves an education. It’s a tragedy, but one we can all address and begin to change. If we all join together and donate to the building of schools we can offer these children hope and a chance at a better life.

With a personal donation of $10,000 from the President and Founder of Rural Hope Foundation (RHF) and with the support of the community (providing labor), the seed for the Rural Hope Foundation was sown. The Foundation was able to build a four class room senior high school for the children of Daboya and its wide catchment area in Northern Ghana.
The building’s foundation was constructed with funds from Rural Hope Foundation, the Local Assembly, the Chiefs and the community then secured additional financial assistance from the Ghanaian government to complete the 10-unit classroom building. The community now has its first Senior Secondary School with an enrollment of 103 students.
The Rural Hopes Foundation’s first project was the construction of a four classroom Senior High School for the children of
Daboya and its wide catchment area in Northern Ghana. Prior to the construction of the Wasipe Senior High School, students had
to travel either 55 miles to Damongo or 40 miles to Tamale to attend school. Most students were unable to make this daily journey.
The Wasipe Senior High School opened its doors with 103 first year students in 2015.
A personal donation of $10,000 from the President and Founder of Rural Hope Foundation (RHF) and with the support of the community (providing labor) and the Local District Assemble providing additional funding, the seed for the Rural Hope Foundation was sown. The Foundation and the District Local Government were able to build a ten classroom senior high school for the children of Daboya and its wide catchment area in Northern Ghana.
Members of the North Gonja District Assembly visited Wasipe Senior Secondary School to interact with teachers and students of the school. The Chiefs and people of Wasipe Traditional Area and North Gonja District Assembly are very much grateful for your singular effort, God Bless.
